Job Description:

These positions are located in Wolf Trap National Park for Performing Arts in the Buildings and Utilities Branch. The incumbent will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks involving the use of common hand-tools and simple power equipment. There is no public transportation available to the park.
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work of a Laborer, WG-3502-02 without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean and in order) Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (other than blueprints) Ability to Use and Maintain tools and Equipment. Dexterity and Safety If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. The major duties of the Laborer position include, but are not limited to, the following: Incumbent performs tasks that require very heavy physical effort and the use of common hand tools. Perform manual tasks such as moving, loading, stacking, arranging, collecting and cleaning. Utilize safety practices and procedures while following established safety rules.
