You will serve as a MISCELLANEOUS SHOPS SUPERVISOR II in the Production Resources Department, of PSNS and IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. You will plan assignments on an immediate and long-range basis in accordance with schedules and priorities established by higher-level supervision.
You will organize, coordinate, and direct the work activities and personnel of the units supervised.
You will determine manpower, tooling, and material availability and methods to be used.
You will monitor work operations and review completed work and inspection reports to assure that production and quality standards are met.
You will plan daily and weekly work assignments, monitor cost and schedules, and execute work priority established by higher-level supervision.
