Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience providing guidance and support to managers in civilian manpower, budget, functional areas, classification and staffing; utilizing automated personnel systems to access or to run programs and in retrieving data and files; and displaying practical knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles and practices related to civilian human resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Serves as Garrison Human Capital Analyst responsible for civilian human resources management (CHRM) strategic plans, goals and objectives.
Addresses management and workforce goal analysis, training, manpower, payroll and budget, EEO, employee and management relations, administrative policy, and garrison mission and functions; applies extensive knowledge and tact in these areas.
Advises Garrison Commander and all subordinate supervisors, managers, and leaders on organizational resource issues within the framework of HR goals and objectives.
Serves as the garrison’s civilian personnel point of contact with Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, finance/DFAS, IMCOM-Training, and IMCOM HQ.
