Job Description:

Position will support 1st and 2nd Shift with Flexible Hours 
Opportunity
Responsible for achieving goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Sustainability for the Focused factory operation. Providing highly visible leadership to engage and inspire front line leaders and operators within the factory operation.

Establishes basic and consistent flow through the focused Factory efforts using KPI’s set for the department and through continuous improvement activities.

Drives continuous improvement in all areas from customer order to customer delivery. Leads cross functional collaboration with Product Engineering and Marketing groups to achieve this.

Monitors load and capacity of the focused factory to ensure customer expectations are always met. Work with engineering to ensure all capacity constraints are identified and plans in place to address the needed actions.

Specific Responsibilities
Achieves required output levels both in terms of total throughput and the achievement of Takt times.Works with Materials team to ensure execution of the schedule and that focused priorities are completed as needed and commits are communicated to needed departments and individuals.Understands the production schedule and work center production SKUS to ensure flexibility and focus of obtaining the schedule and output needs.Leads the management of a pull system to drive material flow as needed in the department.Establishes and maintains an effective 5S culture. Drive Actions to ensure continued path toward “True North” approach and model cell focus.Identifies and drives improvement throughout the value stream, emphasizing a focus on the end customer and achieving consistent and quick delivery to the end user.Develops and enforces standard work. Uses Leaders standard work to ensure daily audits to standards put in place.Assume responsibility and accountability for successfully achieving goals or completing assignments.Develops appropriate metrics, clearly communicates goals and performance against those goals. Leads and develops the manufacturing area utilizing best practices in visual management to communicate and to monitor group performance, including but not limited to glass walls.Conducts Daily Tier II meetings in the work area to cover performance against goal in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.Delivers factory KPI updates and address escalation needs from Tier 2 meetings to Leadership during daily production meeting.Identifies waste in all forms and leads projects to eliminate.Promotes and executes effective TPM program.Establishes realistic OEE baselines and improvement objectives.Create a culture of continuous improvement with high levels of associate engagement through:The active collection and execution of improvement ideas.Works with Upper management to foster their engagement and active participationWorks to achieve and sustain Tier 4 status in KSMS, KQMSCelebrating success through individual and group recognition activities.
