This position is located at FMWR Sports & Fitness on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position. Assist in setting up and publicizing special events and sport tournaments; assist to deliver posters, flyers, and other promotional materials; and assisting customers. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package. One (1) year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry. Possess a current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Provides oversight of events and tournaments.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities.
Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment.
Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.
