Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:30pm - 6am (Sun- Thurs).

We are looking for Tool & Die Operator. This position will be based at our Union City, TN location, where we specialize in in manufacturing high-quality shower glass doors. 
 
Crafting Excellence: Responsibilities
Follow company safe work practices, PPE Requirements, 5S practices & complete LOTO Training.Have basic computer skills to complete job requirements daily task;SAP transactions for necessary job functions (Attendance Clock/ w/o Time Tracking).Work Order execution for plant equipment (Inventory Control used Parts).Profile or Equipment look-up for job specifications (Equipment BOM’s or Profile Specs.).Capable of handling tooling up to 75 lbs.Perform fabrication tooling PM’s (Inspections/Cleaning/Part Replacement).Perform tool cleaning, inspection, and preparation of extrusion tooling when necessary.Use and maintain precision measuring tools (Calipers, micrometers)Use precision machinery to manufacture/modify sample or replacement parts as requiredReplacement parts for equipment. New tooling or fixturing for engineering or production use.Sample parts for NPD engineering designs, Gages for quality use.Trouble shoot production fabrication equipment to identify & correct non-conforming issues.Ability to read and understand profile or part prints as needed to complete task.Communicate shift issues to supervision, engineering or quality department as needed.Verbal direct contact with Associates or E-mail communication, when necessary.Ability to understand written and/or visual drawings presented for task needed

Key Qualifications 
Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.  
Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.  
Must be at least 18 years old. 
 
Preferred Qualifications  
Actively participate in developmental training as outlined or recommended. 
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. 
A minimum of 3 years of Tool & Die or equivalent experience. 
High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
Vocational Training Certificate in a Machine Tool Program or 3 yrs. Work experience.  Work experience could be a machine shop or maintenance multi-craft experience.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment (good communication skills).
Must be able to obtain and keep a PIV license.Be flexible in work hours and shifts – Come in early or stay over for shift coverage when needed.Successfully complete the interview process.Must have basic set of hand tools and toolboxes to store them in.Actively participate in developmental training as outlined or recommended.
