You Are:

A skilled utility industry practitioner with the know how to help clients meet the challenges of grid modernization. You have the experience, creativity, and analytical power to design and implement the next generation of grid management solutions: your bread and butter are the utility processes and solutions underlying the real time grid management systems selection, implementation, and maintenance processes.  You are not afraid to imagine next-gen solutions powered by artificial intelligence and automation. In fact, every day you are looking for opportunities to challenge the status quo and you are not satisfied with step change. You are a connector, inspiring teams to deliver your vision and new ways of thinking. You have a proven track record of assembling diverse, high-octane teams that harness people's strength and deliver radical insight. You understand that co-location with clients and teams is critical to innovation, and you are ready to partner at client sites.
You are a thought leader in the Renewable Integration space, and you understand its impacts on Interconnection Management, Grid Reliability and the Energy Market. You are familiar with regulations such as FERC 2222 and understand how changes in policies impacts Utilities’ business model. Additionally, you have an end-to-end vision of DERs that includes Interconnection processes, contract management, forecast, monitor, control and settlements. Finally, you have a strong understanding of the vendor landscape and solution offerings as it pertains to Interconnection and DERMS solutions.

The Work:

Lead teams to deliver transformative transmission and distribution grid management solutions to our clients, from up-front assessment, planning and design through deployment.
Understand client challenges and articulate the value of transformation in terms of business outcomes
Bring a combination of deep functional expertise and delivery leadership to our Utilities clients
Constantly learn and bring new technologies and innovative real time grid management solutions to our clients
Be a role model and a coach for the next generation of Accenture managers and consultants
Champion people on your team to succeed professionally and personally
Foster trusted advisor relationships with clients from strategy to technology; from the C-Suite to the front line, for business and IT
Integrate business data to discover new insight and enable evidence-based business decisions
Build partnerships with Utilities and vendors to define, design and deliver DERMS use cases ranging from grid stability, demand response, aggregation to microgrid management
Ability to travel up to 50%
