1. Demonstrated ability and knowledge directly related to the duties to be performed as identified above. 2. Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision, and the ability to interpret instructions and specifications. 3. Position requires the incumbent to possess a valid Driver's License, and the ability to obtain a Government License.
Operates a gasoline/diesel powered vehicles with gross weight of not more than 26,000 pounds. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and carts, gasoline or electrically powered, on a daily basis while receiving incoming shipments or item.
Selects and sets up proper storage areas for materials within the general warehouse plan considering size, shape, quantity, use, and possibility of damage, deterioration, and contamination to or from other items.
Stores, stacks, and palletizes without instructions on methods or procedures to use. Checks condition of shipping containers prior to loading and ensure shipments are loaded into proper conveyances.
Assists in preparation and submission of DCA supply requisitions. Maintains running record of inventory balance. Conducts warehouse inventories, and maintains tally listings during the count
Coordinates property turn-in dates with DOL warehouse and/or DRMO, and ensures the loading and delivery of such property.
