In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: in conducting systems engineering with a direct role in test planning and test engineering, analysis, verification, functional verification, synthesis, design verification, system analysis and systems control and the development and delivery of associated systems engineering aircraft. You will plan specific objectives, milestones, and phases for complex projects, and makes needed innovations and modifications.
You will serve as an engineer in coordinating and integrating the planning, programming, development, oversight, scheduling, and overall management of resources for multi-phase projects related to combat systems engineering.
You will ensure that progress schedule is maintained and task remedial action to ensure the proper distribution of project resources.
You will prepare project plans, including overall project scheduling, major engineering requirements, and specifics related to project budgetary estimates
You will provide advice, guidance, and insight on the resolution of unique and or complex engineering problems where innovative adaptation of techniques or development of new features are required.
You will identify and investigate complex problems and conflicts in assigned areas of responsibility involving project requirements, objectives, interfaces, operations, or schedules.
You will plan, prepare and execute Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) as well as risk management activities.
