THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a GENERAL ENGINEERING, Position Description Number T5904800 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard. THIS IS A TEMPORARY NTE 1 YEAR POSITION WITH POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND UP TO 4 YEARS.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience, education, or training for management, supervision, or performance of (1) planning, designing, construction, and/or maintaining structures and facilities; and (2) investigating, measuring, surveying, and mapping the earth's physical features. Experience in managing the function of work to be performed. Experience that includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
As a CIVIL ENGINEERING, GS-0810-12, you will provide supervisory (less than 25%) and technical assistance to the Base Architect/Engineer in overseeing and managing the engineering shops and production control function. Provides technical support to all assigned sections. Provides guidance to these sections on standard and code requirements.
