Job Description:

As a Training Technician in Continuing Education (CE) Training Operations division, you will implement organization-wide training and professional development services and provide information and guidance to employees on training policies, processes, and programs. You will also function independently to support the division and Training Officers in all areas of training and customer relations.
You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-III band level or GS-7 grade level in the Federal service. An example of specialized experience for this position includes: Preparing for and supporting training events (e.g. scheduling, managing enrollments, material preparation, on-site support, record-keeping). The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. As a Training Technician, you will: Review and process external training requests, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and routing for additional action when necessary. Perform record-keeping responsibilities including entering and maintaining records. Suggest enhancements to customer outreach initiatives and resources to optimize user experience and satisfaction. Engage in cross-training to enhance team stability, foster versatility, and support professional growth. Analyze and create reports on training activities and trends to identify opportunities for purchase or acquiring/developing training to optimize resources. Assist in researching available options and develop plans for acquisition and implementation of solutions. Respond to customer inquiries. Analyze trends to identify frequent inquires and recommend outreach activities or communications to address them. Serve on special assignment teams assisting with the development of project plans and deliverables. Conduct organization-wide outreach to promote training policies, products, processes and services.
