You are:
A motivated and analytical professional who is starting your career in Sourcing and Procurement strategy. You help clients develop and implement strategies that improve procurement processes, optimize supplier relationships, and drive operational efficiency. Using your data skills, you analyze procurement workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the development of sourcing strategies that reduce costs and enhance supplier performance. You’re a collaborative team player with strong communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into actionable solutions.
The work:
Develop Sourcing Strategies: Support the creation and execution of sourcing initiatives that align with client objectives and reduce procurement costs.
Procurement Process Optimization: Analyze current procurement processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
Supplier Management & Negotiation: Assist in supplier negotiations and building relationships, ensuring performance standards are met.
Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to monitor procurement metrics, track supplier performance, and identify areas for cost reduction.
Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their needs and translate those needs into actionable sourcing strategies.
Technology Integration: Assist in the integration of digital tools to improve procurement workflows and drive automation.
Project Delivery: Support project teams to ensure that sourcing strategies are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Travel Expectations:
Hybrid approach is current norm – roughly 30-90% travel expected based on client needs.
