You are:
An experienced professional who takes ownership of Sourcing and Procurement initiatives for clients. You develop and lead sourcing strategies that reduce costs, optimize procurement processes, and drive supplier performance improvements. You leverage data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, lead supplier negotiations, and guide clients through procurement transformations. You’re a natural leader, with the ability to manage teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
The work:
Develop Sourcing Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of sourcing strategies that align with clients' business goals and maximize supplier value.
Procurement Process Optimization: Analyze and streamline procurement workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Supplier Management & Negotiation: Lead supplier negotiations and foster long-term supplier relationships, ensuring performance and quality standards.
Data-Driven Insights: Use data analytics to track procurement metrics and identify areas for optimization and cost savings.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and tailor procurement solutions to meet those needs.
Technology Integration: Guide clients in the integration of digital tools and technologies to drive automation and enhance procurement visibility.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and timely project delivery.
Change Management: Support clients through the change management process during procurement transformations.
Travel Expectations:
Hybrid approach is current norm – roughly 30-90% travel expected based on client needs.
