Job Description:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing administrative work to provide material, services, equipment, and contract support for construction projects; 2) Negotiating and administering construction contracts to ensure specifications and quality assurance are in compliance; 3) Oversee maintenance and construction projects (e.g., estimating, planning, execution) to provide quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of facilities maintenance projects and services; and 4) Applying the principles, methods, and tools of quality assurance, quality control, process improvement, and reliability used to ensure that a project, system, or product meets requirements and standards. You will manage multiple priorities and provide technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems encountered during the administration of the construction contracts.
You will manage the contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensuring timely responses.
You will apply knowledge of construction safety principles and practices in administration of assigned projects to mitigate any safety incidents on the project.
You will populate contract information required in NAVFAC enterprise IT systems (primarily eContracts, but also other systems as necessary).
