This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Coordinate and exercise managerial direction over the integration of new equipment training, fielding, redistribution of items, and disposal for assigned weapon systems during all phases of the life cycle.
Apply a variety of analytical methods and techniques to unique and complex logistics matters.
Review and analyze report for Rotary Wing Aviation system to determine solutions to logistics problems.
Provides timely, consistent and comprehensive oversight of assigned contracts, delivery orders and task orders.
Makes formal and informal presentations to all management levels, outlining the history, current status and objectives of the logistics program and related functions.
Maintain liaison relationships with other organizations and other agencies as well as industry to review and analyze reports for assigned systems to determine solutions for logistics problems to circumvent potential program issues.
