About the Position: Serves as a Lead Police Officer assigned under the authority of the Senior Commander at IMCOM supported installations. This position responds to and investigates emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting a full range of law enforcement activities which routinely include: enforcing laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures; writing and analyzing police reports; dispatching emergency personnel; monitoring surveillance equipment; and supervising employees in the area of security or law enforcement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Arrest/Apprehension Criminal Law Traffic Control Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Respond to and investigate emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service.
Conduct traffic law enforcement patrol using specialized equipment such as radar, Lidar and breathalyzer.
Perform protection duties to deter, detect, and deny unauthorized access at fixed installation, internal compound, and incident perimeter posts.
Operate the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) terminal in accordance with federal and state laws to transcribe data.
