About the Position: Incumbent serves as the principal staff advisor to the District Commander, Corporate Board, and district staff principles on matters relating to civilian workforce management. This position is eligible for regular and/or recurring telework. Selectee may be approved to telework 3 or more days per pay period. This is NOT a Full-Time telework position.

Advising and leading teams in a matrix organization on workforce management functions, including procedural and policy matters related to staffing, personnel actions, and/or organizational needs; 2. Supervising employees, providing guidance on performance management, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives; and 3. Communicating effectively with senior leadership and/or other personnel regarding staffing requirements, personnel actions, and/or organizational changes. . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Communications Strategic Workforce Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Coordinate and/or track request for personnel actions (RPA).
Administer an awards program that may include annual national level awards, performance, honorary, service and/or retirement awards.
Present clear, concise, and well-structured briefings that address designated personnel matter.
Provide guidance and/or advice to management on recruitment and/or outreach initiatives.
Review organization requirement and/or conducts studies relating to factors such as turnover, mission, anticipated vacancies, and/or retention deficiencies.
Develop and implement onboarding/orientation for new employees incorporating requirements from various supporting offices and CHRA
