About the Position: This Supervisory Training, Readiness, and Exercise position is located at U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Training, Readiness, and Exercises Division with a duty location of Colorado Springs, CO.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Supervises the Training, Readiness, and Exercise Division, which encompasses a diverse workforce, including Military, Civilian, and contractor personnel with diverse skill sets.
Serves as subject matter expert on the employment, implementation, and concept of operations (CONOPS) for all USASMDC training, certifications, exercises, and readiness engagements by the command in support of SPACECOM, NORTHCOM, and STRATCOM.
Chairs the command Exercise Working Group for deployment of the Command's space forces for exercise participation.
