Job Description:

GS-12 Specialized Experience Requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: developing and maintaining analytics, measures, and metrics in order to support or influence human capital or workforce related business decisions; developing, preparing and updating comprehensive reports using tools such as Excel, Power Query or PowerBI; and collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver information or products supporting human capital initiatives. Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service. You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Reviews and analyzes statistical data and reports on historical trends and future projections regarding turnovers, required skills, and skill gaps.
Maintains a working knowledge of all human capital initiatives and consults with HR and other key stakeholders regarding their capacity to deliver information or products in direct support of those initiatives.
Manages tasks toward developing comprehensive plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of daily and long-range projects, actions and activities that execute the mission of Human Capital.
Prepares draft briefings by gathering background data, searching out missing information, ensuring proper coordination, and continually updating recurring briefings.
Monitors status of tasks and projects to measure progress, to ensure completion by suspense date, and to identify variance effecting the successful completion.
