You Are:
A focused sales professional who has successfully driven year-on-year business expansion. You know – and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You identify and develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients and apply sales techniques to qualify ability and intent to buy, progress and close
You have worked within the airline industry for more than 3 years and have expertise in at least one airline specific business process or function. You have successfully sold technology outsourcing and consulting projects to more than 3 airlines and have positive relationships with resources at those airlines able to buy work from Accenture, and you have likely worked for an Accenture competitor or partner. You also have relationships with software and platform partners and understand how airlines are realizing value from their products. You are able to demonstrate how those relationships can be used to expand Accenture’s business.
The Work:
You will help originate, nurture and close sales with Accenture’s airline clients across North America primarily focused on our services and consulting offerings and may at times include resale of products from our vendor partners.
You will work with our clients to understand their support needs and values and work with our teams to determine the solutions that fit those needs. You will lead a sales team to shape this solution for the client. You will be responsible for the pursuits strategy, definition of buyer values and win themes, shape the messaging, and manage the sales process with Accenture internal and client teams. And you will determine opportunities to partner with others.
You have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
What You Will Do:
You will build relationships with our client account directors, with our account teams and ultimately with our clients to identify and qualify sales opportunities. You will build an understanding of the offerings and services Accenture can provide to meet client needs and using your airlines experience provide guidance to our teams on how offerings and services might be modified to address these needs more effectively.
You will represent Technology Services and will develop and grow client relationships to deepen our opportunities for sales in the technology, cloud, and data domain and will be responsible for day-to-day sales management, with emphasis on opportunity qualification, win strategy definition/execution, proposal development, orals presentation, and support of contract negotiations. The successful candidate will apply Accenture's corporate strategies, client service group priorities, and formal sales management processes to secure new contracts and deliver sales that meet or exceed financial goals within acceptable risk parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales: Developing, Validating, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities
Provides solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters
Manages large work efforts as an individual contributor within Accenture.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
