Primary Responsibilities: Assist with data collection and input for the Working Animal Veterinary Medical Matrix /Crosswalk: The Veterinary Medical Matrix serves as a comprehensive reference tool that aligns best practices among various federal and state agencies for working canine and equine programs. It will aid with developing the DHS Working Animal Group's (WAG) Animal Health and Welfare Criteria for DHS Support and Working Animals. Assist with Administrative Support Duties: Perform general office duties such as filing and organizing TWPD Veterinary Files Management and documents. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence. Assist with coordinating travel arrangements and working animal visits Assist with correspondence, emails, and other administrative tasks as needed.
