About the position: This position will be assigned to the Manatee Cove Marina. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week. .

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Applicants will be reviewed and referred on the following dates: Feb 6, 2025, Feb 16, 2025, and closing on Feb 26, 2025. Announcement will close once position is filled. Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payments; arranges equipment or tools, charging them out to participants and checking them for condition upon their return; decorates community or neighborhood centers or recreations centers for special events, activities, or parties; checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools and equipment; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about item, place, transportation or other matters related to activities scheduled. Tasks inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment; and helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks.
