We are looking for an HVAC & Utility Systems Maintenance to join our team! This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.
Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities
Operate, inspect, troubleshoot and repair plant utility systems.
Perform all operations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.
Maintain all major utility equipment including Boilers, Air Compressors/Dryers, Chillers, Fans, Pumps, Wells, Cooling Towers and Fire Suppression equipment. Includes maintenance of distribution systems for Steam, Condensate, Compressed Air, Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, Water Chemistry/Purification, Potable Water, Process Wastewater, Natural Gas, Propane, and Fire Systems.
Must be knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems including Air Handlers, Rooftop units, and Make-up air units including associated controls.
Operate, inspect and maintain all Fire Protection Systems including but not limited to; sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, fire hose, hydrants, and other firefighting equipment in accordance with specified guidelines and procedures including response to fire alarms.
Must be knowledgeable in the application of Lubricants, Packing/Seals, Bearings, Couplings, Gear Reducers, Measurement equipment, Fasteners, and Rigging.
Must demonstrate the ability to interpret and understand Mechanical and Electrical prints as well as P&ID diagrams.
Proficiently utilize a wide variety of equipment and tools.
Be capable of using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create work notifications, look-up and order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations.
Maintain technical competence in advancing technology via frequent training courses, on-the-job training, and vendor schools.
