Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer managing systems engineering projects to support the design, development, or maintenance and modernization of ships or ship systems. You will serve as a Systems Engineer in the Aircraft Carrier Systems Engineering Division; Aircraft Carrier Design and Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05V) at NAVSEA.
You will support one of the following functional areas: Auxiliaries, Digital/Networks, Electrical, Hull, Propulsion, or Warfare/Mission systems.
You will represent NAVSEA 05 regarding matters of engineering policy to negotiate decisions affecting critical outcomes primarily associated with system of systems integration and ship integration.
You will interface with Program Offices to ensure compliance with applicable specifications and standards for platform integration.
You will have demonstrated technical expertise with various (Naval) Engineering Systems and their integration into ship designs.
You will support the execution of technical authority on Aircraft Carriers across new construction, operation, maintenance, and refueling.
You will be responsible for the integration of new systems, implementation of new requirements, and producing risk analysis of deficiencies.
You will be responsible for performing technical evaluations and risk assessments in the support the Ship Design Managers (SDM) execution of technical authority.
