About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD MISSION SUPPORT COMMAND/ACOFS, G-6 FORT BELVOIR, VA.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing system analysis duties such as: 1) implementing new and/or improved IT systems to meet mission requirements; 2) coordinating IT plans, installation, configuration, and/or testing of system environments to support IT architecture: AND, 3) applying systems engineering concepts and/or methods to ensure optimization and integration of the installation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Serves as a Project Manager (systems analyst) responsible for enabling the delivery of high-quality service to ensure Service Support and Service Delivery to meet U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) needs.
Represents INSCOM on IT project management and systems integration issues for assigned Programs/projects.
Serves as principal customer-facing advisor and mission specialist to the Director and G-6.
Performs work as an expert planner, analyst, and advisor to the organization's management on systems and program integration, program cost analysis, and program plans/documentation/reporting.
