In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer troubleshooting, maintaining, and designing Naval equipment that involves electrical and mechanical components and interfaces with software to support the command. You will apply complex methods and perform work on projects from design development through inspection and approval to final completion and documentation.
You will conduct tests in a laboratory setting or on a range and monitors specific parts of complex tests.
You will coordinate with other members of the team.
You will analyze complicated test data, draw conclusions, and recommend changes either in procedure or in the item tested.
You will perform engineering or scientific studies involved to solve unusual production, operating, or facility problems.
