About the Position: The incumbent monitors, administers and manages various programs to provide direct support to members in the United States Army, with emphasis upon the United States Army Reserve.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience Required: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with providing accurate and timely guidance to requests for information received from various inquirers; providing information, data, interpretations, explanations, and/or analysis needed to fully respond to the inquiry; applications for benefit elections; troubleshoot pay accounts to identify incomplete or conflicting information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06) (or equivalent). Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for required experience in order to qualify. For this position, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone. Substitution of education for experience is NOT permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer Literacy Customer Service Manages and Organizes Information Personnel Action Processing and Recordkeeping Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
Provides advice and technical guidance on performance management, in and out-processing, Civilian honorary awards, and incentive awards processing.
Provides advice and assistance in the resolution of Civilian payroll and ATAAPS issues.
Uses automation software applications for word processing, graphics, and database management to support office activities.
Maintains electronic records and files, monitors status of taskers.
Accesses, organizes, evaluates and distributes information in support of office goals.
