Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer applying theories, principles or engineering processes for facilities infrastructure, safety systems projects, or program coordination. Examples of qualifying experience may include defining project requirements, developing cost estimates, or detailing scopes or work for project requirements packages and/or contracting actions. You will be responsible for project development, including concept, planning, design, scope and budget, on a wide variety of customer-driven facility, systems and infrastructure projects.
You will develop safe standards of practice and/or managing project execution, design and construction contract liaison, site coordination, and project execution and acceptance.
You will provide complete oversight of program or individual project execution, including assembling and managing project/program teams, pursue contracts as needed through NAVFAC, NAVSUP and NAVSEA avenues.
You will develop project scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules and coordinate contributing support as needed to ensure smooth project completion and best value to the Navy.
You will ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental and fire safety regulations including the Americans with Disabilities Act, OSHA, and State and Federal air quality regulations.
