**Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria.** Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS); American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional; CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED); First Aid. You must submit the required Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certificates as "other" with your application. If currently enrolled, a copy of your receipt must be uploaded. Applications missing proof of certifications or proof of enrollment will be marked ineligible.
Serves as a lifeguard for indoor and outdoor pools.
Employs safety rules for the protection of the pool guests.
Provides maximum pool area surveillance and responds to emergencies, rescues pool patrons and administers first aid as required.
Assists in maintaining pool, and area clean and free from hazards.
Provides information to swimmers regarding safety/health/admission rules and procedures.
Attends aquatic and/or safety training as directed.
