GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing or preparing cultural resource surveys, monitoring, restoration, mitigation, plans and studies to conserve cultural resources consistent with agency mission, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation; Planning, programming, budgeting, scoping and managing cultural resource projects, from project development and data managing to review and completion of deliverables; ensuring compliance with cultural and environmental laws, regulations and policies, experience engaging and consulting regulators and relevant stakeholders, and support agency staff in review and compliance with other environmental policies (e.g., National Environmental Policy Act). For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You will develop, improve, and implement an Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan with the purpose of supporting the combat center mission.
You will support the Marine Corps planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process and provide input to the cultural resources section budget.
You will plan research, survey, monitor, restore/rehabilitate, and other tasks appropriate for inclusion in the Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan.
You will initiate, support, and monitor the acquisition process, including development of project scopes and cost estimates.
You will understand and maintain familiarity with existing and proposed laws, regulations, permits, orders, and agreements applicable to the cultural resources program.
You will interpret these requirements, provide guidance to command and internal stakeholders, and develop procedures to ensure compliance.
You will identify, investigate, report, and resolve actual and potential non-compliance.
You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to further the combat center mission and cultural resources program.
You will develop and provide information papers, briefings, and public affairs material for command, other staff sections, and external entities.
