Job Description:
You will serve as an ENGINEER in the Technical Division, Missile Branch of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing technical oversight and direction in the design, development and integration of highly complex systems engineering projects to include testing and evaluation for sustainment of nuclear ballistic missile systems or weapons systems. You will serve as a Senior Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Lead Engineer in an assigned program area.
You will review and assess overall progress, and develops solutions for all technical, schedule, and cost problems that arise during the design, development, test and evaluation, production, and initial logistical support.
You will provide scientific, technical, and professional engineering guidance, and acquisition advice on all aspects of the assigned program area.
You will ensure that all quality requirements for the assigned program are implemented by the applicable segment of the Defense Contract Management Command and contractors.
You will plan for all aspects of design, development, and test and evaluation for the assigned program area; and is responsible for the overall program plan and budget.
You will plan for all related support for the assigned program area, taking into account the extremely complicated equipment, software, and documentation.
