Job Description:
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, CODE 300.1 of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and providing guidance on budget, accounting, or financial management programs to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. You will perform formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.
You will provide guidance on policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area.
You will control and report obligations and expenditures.
You will identify problems and recommend solutions for projects related to financial management.
You will perform or advise on work in any phases or systems of budget administration.
