This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Performing and resolving a full range of both standard procedural and non-recurring/unusual visitor access assignments; 2. Performing and/or monitoring standardized aspects of established security program operations; 3. Processing, reviewing, and validating forms of security access into an installation/organization. You will issue vehicle decals, civilian employee identification badges, visitor passes, contractor/vendor passes, and tradesman passes, maintain vehicle registration, and provide typing and clerical support.
You will provide guidance and information on security regulations and procedures, exercising sound judgment and discretion in response to telephone and in-person security inquiries.
You will prepare and issue Defense Biometric Identification Database System (DBIDS) badges with photographs for DoD civilian employees, vendors, and contractors.
You will perform a variety of administrative tasks such as providing receptionist support, maintaining appointment calendars, and serving as civilian administrative liaison to the Human Resources Office (HRO).
