This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. Qualified candidates will possess the following: ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, AND math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and inventory, AND skill in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine (must be supported in your resume), AND ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff PLEASE NOTE: Your resume & application package must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible.
Operates a small full-service coffee shop, preparing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks.
Records sales, takes customer payments for goods by operating a cash register, balances cash drawer at the end of the day.
Maintain clean and sanitary work area, utensils, equipment and coffee bar.
Keeps records of quantities of beverages and other goods dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor.
