Job Description:
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASS/RECRUITMENT) in the Human Resource and Orgainzational Management Branch of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising management officials and operating Human Resources Offices (HRO's) regarding HR programs and policies to include position management, position classification, compensation and pay, staffing and recruitment and workforce planning AND developing regulations, policies, plans and procedures for new or existing programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). You will ensure that administration and resource management and HR organizational management strategic plans, mission, vision and values are communicated to recruitment and classification teams.
You will develop internal operating procedures, fact sheets, checklists, and other documents for both internal and external use.
You will provide staff advice on all Office of Personnel Management (OPM), DoD, Navy, and USMC policies and programs related to work involving recruiting, examining, selecting, and placing applicants.
You will prepare various reports using HR systems, databases, and other resources to track progress, determine potential process inefficiencies, justify recommendations, develop strategic planning efforts, etc.
