Job Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Material Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of logistics management specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Providing ILS outfitting support for assigned ships, craft, systems and equipment to include: configuration management, provisioning, maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, storage, transportation, small purchase, facilities and ship outfitting. Examples of specialized experience include:1) Projecting, processing, and performing quantitative trend analysis to identify project priorities and shortfalls in order to ensure ship acquisition milestones are achieved; 2) Continually monitoring and improving ILS outfitting and technical data processes; 3) Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments; and 4) Monitoring and controlling progresses to ensure timely and quality delivery of material ordering services to meet the material and schedule needs of the various ships under construction/repair. You will resolve ILS outfitting and technical problems within the constraints of existing instructional, statutory and contract guidelines
You will supervise a team of employees, including outfitting and allowance specialists, configuration and technical specialists and Government Purchase Card (GPC) personnel.
You will project and process and perform quantitative trend analysis to identify project priorities and shortfalls in order to ensure ship acquisition milestones are achieved
You will ensure equipment validations are in accordance with contract requirements for CFE and GFE and configuration elements are loaded accurately into the Material and Equipment Real-time Logistics Network (MERLIN).
