About the Position: The DEVCOM Analysis Center (DAC) is an Army organization comprised mostly of civilian science and engineering professionals. DAC's mission is to deliver objective analysis, experimentation, and data across the entire life cycle to ensure our Warfighters are ready today and more ready in the future. DAC is one of eight science and technology domains within the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) that serves 21 locations across the United States.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: 1) applying security methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and/or materials; 2) assist in managing Sensitive Compartmentalize Information (SCI) related activities, requests, and/or information; and 3) utilizing personnel security automated databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-02 or GS-5/11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Serve as Security Specialist for the DEVCOM Analysis Center (DAC) G-2 Intelligence and Security Office at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Primary responsibilities involve Operations Security (OPSEC) and Tech Protect (TP).
Conduct in-depth review of public release documents and draft and maintain the organization's Critical Information List (CIL).
Duties include OPSEC planning; managing the organization's OPSEC working group; and providing applicable OPSEC training to the workforce.
Identify technology for nomination to the Critical Protected Technology List (CPTL).
Attend TP working groups and remain abreast of the latest rules, regulations, and communities of practice.
Maintain knowledge of Research and Technology Protection (RTP) guidance and regulations.
