About the Position: Works under the broad administrative supervision of the Executive Director (Senior Executive Service Level III member reporting to the Secretary of the Army) of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), a Direct Reporting Unit (DRU). Incumbent has delegated responsibility for carrying out all phases of the financial management program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising on policy development pertaining to financial management; analyzing financial program plans such as budgeting, finance, contract acquisition, and financial reporting for business operation activities; and reviewing manpower requirements such as distribution allowances and/or work-year allocations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Concepts, Policies, and Principles of Finance Financial Management and Reporting Analysis Oral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
Serve as the Director of Business Operations for Arlington National Cemetery with responsibilities that include finance, budget, manpower, logistics, and contractor management.
Monitor the execution and implementation of the total business operations program Arlington National Cemetery.
Recommend changes to program policies and legislation affecting program funding.
Oversee the State of Budgetary Resources Audit Readiness program.
Oversee Army Internal Control Program within Arlington National Cemetery to minimize the potential for fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement and inefficiency.
Manage all Command TDAs and work-year allocations.
Supervise and evaluate subordinate branch chiefs, and reviews evaluations made by supervisors of other employees.
