Job Description:
You will serve as an Undersea Systems Analyst in the Test and Evaluation Department; Undersea Systems Acquisition and Assessment Division of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of professional engineering, physical science or mathematical science principles to analyze undersea warfare systems for operational readiness and heavy weight and/or lightweight in water run data analysis. You will apply senior-level interdisciplinary skills to the performance analysis of data associated with undersea systems.
You will develop, complete, maintain, document, database, distribute, and present undersea vehicle analysis and analysis tools.
You will apply principles associated with the fields of Data Science to enhance the Branch's analysis capabilities.
You will prepare quick look evaluations, analysis reports, and schedules as required to complete project assignments.
You will ensure in-water testing is performed following approved processes and all data is handled according to required security and classification guidelines.
You will apply accepted software testing methodology to demonstrate that any software developed is ready for implementation.
You will coordinate with production acceptance specialists/engineers, range personnel, customers, technical design agents, in-service engineers, and other analysts in the planning, testing, and implementation of in-water range events.
