This is a permanent career position (GS14) as a technology IT Project Manager in the Information Analysis Center (IAC) Program Management Office (DTIC-I). Provides key project analysis assistance to the IAC Program Manager in developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the execution of technology projects, DoD policies, plans, program and procedures, related to the DoDIAC Program and customers.

Problem Solving- identifying alternatives to address complex information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from a variety of sources that provide a number of potential solutions. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, qualified applicants must possess: One year of experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade, GS-13, within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. To qualify at the GS-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as experience in management, organization, and IT project management techniques/procedures to perform a wide variety of analytical studies/projects related to management improvement, productivity, efficiency, internal controls and long-range planning of technology projects. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
