About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation (Fam Camp) This is a Flexible position, no benefits. Be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.

Qualifying Experience: Ability to use, control, and clean common hand tools, and simple power equipment. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps.
Introductory Statement: The purpose of this position is to perform manual labor tasks involving the use of common handtools and simple power equipment and maintenance items. Regular & Regular Duties and Responsibilities: Loads and unloads heavy materials, bulky supplies, and occasional gravel/dirt load. Maintains grounds to include trimming trees, bushes, shrubs, empty trash bins, maintaining camp sites, i.e. plugs, tables, grills, pads and misc. equipment. Using a shovel, digs ditches and trenches where a pick is not needed to loosen the dirt, and where grading and sloping is not required; fills holes with dirt and levels bumps and low places, using shovel, hand tamper, and rake. Runs hand lawnmowers or (domestic type) powered lawnmowers, when this does not require heavy physical effort (for example, on steep grades); clears small trees and bushes, using handsaw, hatchet, or clipper. May have to operate a side by side with trailer or Government vehicle to ensure maintenance of total grounds. Moves, arranges, and builds furniture as directed; shovels rock and debris from sidewalks and common areas. Upkeeps restrooms and common areas to include minor fixes to toilets, handrails, curtains, and shelving units.
