This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience directly related to banquet service, including, but not limited to the following: Event set up, AND scheduling of resources, AND payment posting, AND linen control, AND account for equipment PLEASE NOTE: Your resume & application package must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible.
Responsibilities include delegating duties to staff, set-up and completion of event, assistance with proper scheduling, labor control, linen control, and payment postings.
When required will function as Server, Food Runner, Cashier, or Bartender as needed.
Accountable for event props/materials and management of department equipment.
Responsible for the actions of the banquet staff and their performance on and off the event floor.
Recommends improvements concerning procedures, services, products, and revenue enhancement.
