About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. This is a Seasonal position Not-To-Exceed 31-OCT-2025. This position is Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in clerical, office or retail sales work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of this position. Must have ability to do common mathematical problems, compute sales and issue correct change. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Must successfully complete DRAM Shop Theory training. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete a Background Investigation Tier 1 Level. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must provide current driving record.
Works in the "Snack Shack" or Snack Bar to serve the patrons on the Golf Course. Serves a variety of snacks and food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. May operate a gas beverage cart on the golf course, working independently, to include loading and unloading the beverage cart in accordance with set standards. Maintains a change fund, records sale, receives money, makes change and dispenses snacks and beverage items to patrons. May be required to mix simple alcoholic drinks. Responsible for stocking, direct selling and restocking of the snack and beverage cart, snack shack or snack bar coolers. Maintains sales records and consumption reports as required. Turns over cash and supporting documentation to supervisor at end of shift. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Performs other related duties as assigned.
