All candidates MUST meet the following minimum qualifications: one (1) year of work experience which includes, but is not limited to the following duties: analyzing monthly and yearly results of accounting transactions, AND interpreting budget guidance, AND evaluating financial statements and preparing financial reports using the theories, principles, practices and techniques of generally accepted accounting principles. experience in an internal review or auditing field. HIGHLY QUALIFIED candidates WILL possess both the minimum qualifications above and: a combination of experience (above) and education (possess a bachelor's degree with a major in a business discipline, i.e., accounting, financial management). Analyzes the monthly and yearly results of accounting transactions upon the financial posture of a small to medium installation MWR.
Responsible for development and formulation of the annual operating budget to include the five- year plan and narrative.
Reviews and interprets budget guidance for consolidation of estimates and develops instruction based on new guidance.
Evaluates financial statements and prepares recurring financial reports for presentation to the fund manager and the installation commander.
Plans, directs, and coordinates support services operations involving centralized distribution, warehousing, maintenance, supply, information services, training, marketing and advertising in support of NAF activities.
