The major duties of the Seasonal Maintenance Worker WG-05 position include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform simple and routine maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment, and related utilities. Operate a forklift to load and unload supplied and light equipment which may require special rigging. Perform minor carpentry repairs using simple measures and hand tools on tasks such as replacing broken planks, broken windows, and minor adjustments or replacements to hinges, latches, and catches. Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments according to park procedures and reports discrepancies and damage to such items. Operate a light truck to pick up supplied and transport materials to and from work sites.
