Job Description:
You will serve as a DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Using administrative systems to identify inefficiencies and develop recommendations for improvements of digital technology and information technology programs. You will serve as a Digital Technology Coordinator for handling Digital Technology and IT services, specifications, and standards.
You will serve as a liaison between your area of responsibility and the Information Technology and Cyber Security Office to advocate for improvements and resolutions to technical software support issues.
You will participate with system specialists and contract support personnel in the introduction of major new application programs or changes to equipment and operating system software.
You will prepare proposals for change, which consist of objectives, scope, planning, and expectations.
You will review and interpret Department of Navy and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) IT and procurement policies for managers and propose change requirements to local policies.
You will provide support for electronic records management, digital technology related services/contracts, and prepare reports as required by department managers.
You will conduct reviews, inspections, surveys, audits as required, while ensuring compliance with numerous complex and sensitive security policies.
You will assure program goals, objectives, and operations are realistic.
You will manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
