You will determine cause of malfunctions and make repairs, overhauls and rebuilds a variety of heavy mobile equipment/vehicles including their major systems.
You will repair/overhaul a variety of heavy mobile equipment (e.g., bulldozers, road graders, rollers, power shovels, mobile cranes heavy combat equipment, missile transporters, etc.
You will trace and locate defects and causes of mechanical problems to determine type and extent of necessary repairs.
You will perform duties as the Working Leader for other Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanics, other journeymen, workers, and helpers.
You will perform leading duties by demonstrating proper work methods, explaining any unusual step or processes, setting the pace of the work.
You will maintain a current knowledge, and answers questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives.
