Required Minimum Qualifications: Must currently be a Certified Dietitian Manager and be able to provide documentation. Minimum 1-year prior experience in patient feeding in an in-patient setting Hands-on leadership with a strong focus on service and hospitality Proficient computer skills using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.) ServSafe certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire date Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and some nights.
Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Direct Patient Feeding for the VA Medical Center to include menu planning, coordinating special dietary requirements, special catering and other food production services Develop and maintain client and customer relationships Ensure safe food quality, safe food handling, and product availability Inventory control, labor cost, and budget management Ensure day-to-day compliance to JCAHO, VA, VCS and HACCP guidelines relative to food production operations Supervise assigned personnel rendering guidance, oversight and training Reports to General Manager
