Opportunity
The
Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for assisting in the day to day
operations of the golf operations team. The Assistant Golf Professional will
ensure that all outside and on-course operations, from guest arrival to guest
departure, provide all guests with a world-class golfing experience. 
Specific
Responsibilities:
Assist 2nd
Assistant Professional training and disciplining Outside Golf Operations
staff. 
Develop, maintain,
and upgrade training procedures. This includes updating training manual
and clearly defining standard operating procedures as necessary. 
Handle all guest
problems/complaints according to company policies. Ensure all such
instances are communicated to the Head Professional and 1st
Assistant. 
Ensure manpower is
used efficiently and within budgets. 
Ensure uniform
policies are adhered to. 
Supervise all Golf
Service Operations. 
Oversee and manage
pace of play
Assist the 2nd
Assistant Professional with golf car fleet - battery maintenance,
appearance, and accurate records with detailed spreadsheet. Work closely
with Supervisor of Equipment at BWR & WS. 
Monitor
cleanliness of golf car storage area.  
Monitor radio
maintenance, including reconditioning. 
Ensure range balls
are consistent with Kohler expectations. 
Monitor practice
facility cleanliness and all inventory levels pertaining to it. 
Supervise all on
course operations concerning starting procedures, pace of play, and
safety. 
Monitor golf club
rental sets and inform Head Professional of any discrepancies. 
Assist Tournament
Division in processing all group outings. This includes preparation
before, during, and after groups outing date. 
Ensure all guests,
including corporate outings, have been properly accounted for and charged.
Coordinate with Starter/Golf Desk/CME Management to facilitate this. 
Assist Head
Professional and the Kohler Golf Academy in the establishing, promoting,
and conducting of lesson programs.  
Assist in
establishing and promoting caddie program.
