Job Description:

You will serve as a Program Specialist (Suicide Prevention) in the Marine & Family Programs division, Manpower & Reserve Affairs Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising and supporting suicide program prevention efforts. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will advise and support USMC worldwide suicide prevention efforts.
You will work with other MF sections to ensure suicide prevention, wellness, and resiliency concepts are incorporated across the enterprise.
You will assist the manager in updating and maintaining written policies and procedures.
You will participate in on-site reviews in support of Inspector General Marine Corps (IGMC) inspections.
You will serve as an expert analyst in the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
You will develop information/point papers, briefs, and other presentation mediums to communication the mission and intent of the suicide prevention program.
